Bedford HC President 'Robert Oakley' scores his first goal for the LX England Reds in their opening match of the European Grand Masters Tournament Trophy against the Germany Reds which finished 2:0 to LX. The tournament is being held at the Scottish National Hockey Centre in Glasgow, the venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and is running from Saturday 19th August to Sunday 27th August. 54 teams are competing over the 9 days in both the European GM Cup and Trophy Tournaments. Bedford is represented also by Mike Gale playing in the LX England Over 70s squad in the Trophy Tournament and Chris Townson will be coaching the Irish Over 60s squad in the full European Tournament.
