The 54 goals across the men's 6 side of the club this weekend is a new club record

Mens Results - 07/11/2015:
P6 W3 D2 L1

This weekend was a complete goal fest at Chester Road, with 54 goals being scored / conceded across the 6 Men's teams of the club.

The 54 goals produced 3 wins, 2 draws & 1 loss, with no game seeing less then 8 goals scored, so never a dull moment. The 54 goals were 28 for and 26 against.

Men's 1s notched up another win beating Cambridge Uni 1s 5-3 in a very high tempo thriller. The squad has seen a lot of new faces over the past 2 years and the team is really starting to gel under the new coach Si Shorter with some fantastic high tempo hockey on show.

Men's 2s were away to Upminster 1s where they put in a strong attacking performance scoring 8 goals (5 notched by Captain Adam Seward) to come out victors in a 8-4 win.

Mens 3s hosted top of the league W Hill & Enfield 1s at Chester Road. This was another double figure score line where Bedford youngster Will Madden scored in the last minute of the game to earn the lads a 5-5 draw. Other goals from Captain Josh Dixon (x2) and Man of the Match Carl Pearson (x2).

Mens 4s came up against a very strong Luton 2s side and despite a valiant effort by all playing the came off on the wrong side of an 8-0 end score.

Mens Vets earned their first point of the season against Bishops Stortford 4s, fight back from 1-4 down to draw the game 4-4.

Mens 5s continued their unbeaten season against local rivals Shefford & Sandy 4s, where they won 6-2 with new junior Joseph Sims scoring on his debut game for the club!!

After such an exciting weekend of hockey we can't wait to see what next week brings...
