The club is in need of new umpires (especially from the ladies section) ... If you are interested in getting your level 1, then providing you umpire 5 games, then the club will cover the cost of this course for you (worth £50) ... After those games, you will be paid by the club £10 per game which for any current players means you in effect write off your match fees each week. There are also opportunities to umpire juniors or masters hockey for the club.
