After promotion last season, Bedford L2’s will be playing in the East Prem this season and open their campaign at home to City of Peterborough on the 21st September. Their first away game is following week at the iconic Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis centre where they will take on Wapping. Bedford are one of 4 L2s sides in the division as well as Cambridge, Harleston Magpies and St Albans, with the standard being the highest a Bedford second team has ever attained. https://www.hockey-east.co.uk/ladies-premier-fixtures.html

Over the summer Bedford L3’s have taken the opportunity to move to the East League structure with a view to improving the standard of hockey and also closing the gap to the L2’s. Beth Ogilvie-King is taking on the captaincy in the newly created Division 3 South.
