Over a period of three weeks, the best U19 talent in the East and surrounding regions was screened by the Herts Mavericks coaches and Ellie, who play GK and Centre, has made the final cut. The NPL is the premier netball development league with all superleague teams represented.Earlier this year Ellie was selected for the England National Netball Academy putting her in the top 32 players in the country at her age group.

Ellie has already represented England at rounders in both the U13 and U16 age groups and was a key member of the Saxon Tigers squad that won the England Futures Cup event last November.

Closer to home, Ellie has still managed to find time to be a key player for the Ladies 2's this season with 4 goals to her name.
