"#H4HLADIES selection was a combination of hockey and gruelling fitness, but everyone ended with a smile on their face" Taking place at Bisham Abbey, just before Christmas, the day involved a morning of hockey following by PT tasks in the afternoon. Special guest appearances were made by Kate Richardson-Walsh and Danny Kerry fresh from their Olympic successes.

Hockey 4 Hero's is this year not just about the male players, 41 ladies took part in the selection process to participate in the team that will walk from Cardiff to London starting in May and playing a number of hockey matches along the way. Hockey 4 Hero's funds Help for Hero's which provides much needed support for servicemen and women helping with injuries sustained during combat and post traumatic stress which is needed more than ever.

Harri wanted to get involved in the charity as it's her chosen charity at school and she wanted to do her bit to raise funds and awareness. In addition, both her grandparents and dad were in the forces.
