Matt Chitty is Bedfords Men's most recent signing in this very active summer transfer window, transferring in from National League side West Bridgeford.

Matts love for hockey started as a young player at the prestigious Kimbolton school. Spotted early on for his great potential he was scouted by St Ives hockey Club, where he played for many years. Matts next step saw him move northwards to Nottingham Trent Uni, where he represented their 1st team for 3 years. His consistently strong performances for his Uni side didn't go unnoticed & before long he had National League side West Bridgeford knocking on the door.

Now finished at uni Matt has moved back to Bedford where he will join up with the lads for the intense pre-season planned ahead.
