Bedford is one of the biggest clubs in the region whilst still retaining a sociable, family atmosphere that has been the mainstay of our 125-year history. BHC are searching for talented, committed players who will add extra quality and strength in depth to both the 1st and 2nd team performance squads ahead of the new season in September.

Bedford Ladies 1st team is now an established National League side and will be competing in their third season back at this level with the aim of promotion into the new National League Division 1 for 2019-20. Our 2nd team will be playing in the East Prem after a great promotion this season and we would welcome interest in players joining our ladies performance squads. The main training session is jointly held, and the group is friendly, loyal and ambitious with the attitude to work hard and a willingness to learn and play to their best ability.

Bedford men have recently achieved a fantastic promotion after an exciting end to the season saw them clinch national league hockey with some gutsy 4-3 victories really showing the squads character and desire. Under the leadership of Stefan Taylor, the men are actively looking to strengthen their squads with the men’s 2s also having gained promotion. The team is a mix of talented youth and experience and if you would like to be part of our 2019-20 campaign, do get in touch.
