BHC Ladies 2nd team have high ambitions to secure promotion to the East Prem this season, after finishing as runners up last year. The squad has a great balance of youth and experience, with many talented players as well as a great desire to improve as a team and establish themselves as one of the top second teams in the country.

The successful candidate will be part of and will be expected to work closely with the ladies selection committee and the Ladies 1st and 3rd team coaches.

Skills and Qualifications

• Level 2 coaching qualification (or seeking to work towards – club support available)
• Reliable and committed to matches, training and the BHC ethos.
• Ambitious with the ability to enthuse and motivate teams.
• Ability to give effective and constructive player.
• Proven history in coaching high-performance teams.
• Good communication skills with both players and other club personnel
• Good leadership and organisational skills

Main Duties

• To prepare high quality, intensive and enjoyable weekly training sessions to the 2nd team squad (1.5 hours per week for the duration of the season, Tuesday evening 8-930pm)
• To attend 2nd team league and friendly matches on a Saturday (A player/coach would also be considered)
• To prepare the 2nd team physically, technically, and tactically for fixtures
• To select the 2nd team for matches in consultation with the captain and working alongside the rest of the ladies selection committee.
• To provide individual feedback to players
• Comply with the EH Coaches code of conduct and all BHC club policies.
