The 6s put out a very new team with only 2 players playing who were regulars last year. We knew from experience that Chiltern are a very physical side with experience of playing in this division. We started well as a team with lots of passes and equally Chiltern started well meaning lots of play in the midfield. We had our chances with several short corners however were unable to put them away. Chiltern won the ball on the edge of our defensive D and a well worked move to the back post saw the home side go 1 up.

Into the 2nd half and we re-set changed the formation slightly and we won a short corner which was struck from Maddie at the top of the D however the keeper was quick to close the front post slip down which resulted in the ball going up and over the goal. We kept strong with Bel putting in a fantastic performance in the centre of midfield earning with the POTM vote. however tired legs were creeping and Chiltern were able to put 3 more past the Bedford defence.

We put this behind us and go again at home to Hertford 4 next week. Huge well done to the girls that were called up to play from the 7s today, you did us proud.
