Bedford vs Blueharts
A tough day for Bedford but the scoreline doesn't accurately reflect the way the game played out.
Firstly, a special shout out to Jack, Freddie and Ollie who all made their 1s debuts. Well done and it's great to see the youngsters getting their chance.
In the game, Bedford were well organised in the first half but went into the break 2-0 down after conceding a flick and a short. Outside of this, Blueharts struggled to make any clear opportunities and the spoils were fairly even.
After 50 minutes, the fitness and experience of the opposition started to show and they finished with another goal from a short corner and two from open play.
Despite the loss, there are plenty of positives for Bedford to take away and build on in the season ahead.
