After a cagey first few skirmishes Bedford created a period of sustained pressure and were rewarded on 23 minutes with a Richard Evans PC low into the left corner. After the break a repeat performance by Evo took us to a well deserved 2 goal lead.
As Bedfords superior fitness and pace created further opportunities Finn Lever scored twice on 51 and 55 mins to put the match out of reach. A late flurry of cards and a melee in the D gave Cambs South a consolation goal at the final whistle.
MOM went to Freddie for an error free performance with Jack Bellamy taking the kit home for washing due to winning the battle of the cards!
